One of my favorite parts of traveling are the road trips we take. We’ve driven up and down the East Coast from local stops to trips to Florida. Being on the road is half the fun for me when we travel. We’ll play games with the kids, stop at unique places on our journey and grab a bite to eat in small towns. Our time spent driving through different states is sometimes just as fun as the destination we’re headed to. But as someone who suffers from chronic knee pain, long car rides can sometimes be problematic. I’ve found that these few simple tips make all the difference between a comfortable ride and an uncomfortable one.
It’s the worst when we find a fun little destination or park so the kids can stretch their legs and they want mommy to play. More often than not, my knee pain gets in the way and I find myself just stretching or walking to help ease the pain and the last thing I want to do is run around and play.
That’s no fun. I’m missing out on creating memories with the kids and doing fun things with them. So before we headed out on our last road trip, I started taking Curamin® Stop Pain Now and it’s made road trips a lot less uncomfortable for me. Now I won’t travel without it.
I always include it on my packing list and make sure I bring the bottle along with us no matter how long our trip may be. I’ve even included this printable checklist for you, so you don’t forget anything on your next road trip. Just click the image to print it out!
TAKE TURNS DRIVING
No matter how long or short the road trip is, take turns driving with your partner. It give you a chance to get out, stretch and a chance to relax a bit while someone else is driving.
GET OUT AND STRETCH
Take frequent breaks and stop at the rest stops. After all, they’re there for a reason. Get out, grab a coffee or just walk around and stretch for a bit. You’ll feel reenergized for the next part of your trip and hopefully not in as much pain.
DON’T OVERDUE IT
Sometimes I get caught up in the moment and try to squeeze in way to many activities. Don’t be me. Know what your limit is and stick to it. I’ve spent many days walking all over town trying to see every sight before the day is over and I end up paying for it later. Set limits for yourself and visit what you can. Tomorrow is another day.
PACK A SUPPLEMENT TO HELP WITH THE PAIN
Just a few weeks ago, I found Curamin® Stop Pain Now at Mom’s Organic Market when I was grabbing some snacks for the kids. I grabbed a bottle of Curamin® Extra Strength 60 count to try out since we’re planning on plenty of road trips this Spring and I’ve heard great things so I wanted to give it a try. Curamin® is the #1 selling brand and is safe, effective and non-addictive which is really important to me.
Curamin® doesn’t mask my pain but it gets right to the source and stops it. Now I make sure I always travel with a bottle of Curamin®.
When I’m packed and ready to go, I grab my bottle of Curamin® and toss it in my bag to help ease my pain during road trips.
Curamin® is available at fine health food stores nationwide. CLICK HERE to buy online or find a store near you that carries Curamin®.
