Lately he weather has been totally feeling like Spring. I’m paying no mind to the snow forecasted for the next day or so and instead I’m focusing on the warm weather that is soon to follow. I spend the last few days cleaning out my closet, getting rid of things that no longer fit and making room for the Spring fashions I can’t wait to fill my closet with. Being an active mom, I love clothes move with me, are versatile enough for a walk in the woods with the family or a day out shopping with some friends. Versatile fashion is a key for me. I was recently introduced to prAna and quickly found a fashion brand that was everything I was looking for and more. …

Make This Holiday “One Big Happy Wonderland”
This post is sponsored by Gymboree.
The holidays are my favorite time of year. I look forward to decorating, Christmas shopping, our annual cookie baking party and so much more. This year the holidays are even more special since it’s the first year my little one is really excited for Christmas. When she sees the holiday lights throughout the neighborhood she squeals with delight. Last weekend we put our Christmas tree up and she was so excited and happy to see it all light up. One of our holiday traditions is to decorate the tree together the day after Thanksgiving and every year, the kids get their own holiday ornament that represents something that they did or they experienced that year. My oldest waits for his new ornament every year and this year, even my little one couldn’t wait to hang hers on the tree. Watching the excitement through Evie’s eyes brings a whole new meaning to the holidays. This year, we’re excited to make this holiday one big happy wonderland and create even more fun, family traditions….
Shopping The Mills at Jersey Gardens
This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Mills at Jersey Gardens. All opinions are my own.
When it comes time for clothes shopping for my family, it usually involves a trip to the mall and at least four other stores to get everything we need. With my tween wearing men’s sizes now, gone are the days I could hit one store and get clothes for the both of the kids. One of my favorite malls to shop at here in New Jersey is The Mills at Jersey Gardens. My sister-in-law first introduced me to the mall a few years ago and I was hooked. I can shop all our favorite stores in one location without having to drive all over visiting different stores. Since the mall is about a 40 minute ride from my house, I usually plan on making a day of it. We’ll usually head up early in the day, stay for lunch and usually finish shopping in the afternoon. It’s a pretty big mall so, I have a few tips to make your next trip to the mall as smooth as possible. …

Show your Patriotic Pride with the Tommee Tippee Stars & Stripes Collection
When it comes to holidays, I definitely have fun dressing my kids. I usually have their outfits picked out months ahead of time and whenever I find cute accessories to match I grab them too. Now that my son is getting older, he’s not into having me pick out his clothes as much. He has his own tastes and like but the toddler on the other hand, she let’s me dress her in just about anything. Plus accessorizing little girl outfits is so much fun! . I love coordinating everything from her outfit to her hair bows down to her pacifiers and bottles or training cups. That’s why I’m so excited to partner with Tommee Tippee on today’s post and to share some of their newest products – the Stars & Stripes Collection – just in time for the July 4th weekend.

Finding Dory Tutu Dress Tutorial
We may be a tad bit excited for Finding Dory, releasing in theaters June 17th. Finding Nemo is one of our favorite family movies and we just can’t wait to see the new movie and see what Dory and the gang are up to. Leading up to the release, I’ll be sharing plenty of fun Finding Dory inspired posts including recipes, activity sheets and more. To kick off my Dory marathon, I wanted to share this DIY Dory Inspired Tutu Dress. My tutu obsession started the minute I found out I was having a little girl. After shopping for boy clothes for over ten years, I was ready for all things frilly and pink. When I learned how easy it was to create tutus for my daughter, I started and just can’t stop. To celebrate the release of the movie, I made her this Finding Dory Tutu Dress inspired by our favorite blue fish and I love how it turned out….
Stepping Out in the Latest Spring Looks from Crazy8
I love clothes shopping for my kids. I could pick out cute little outfits for them all day long. I really had no idea what I was in for when I found out I was expecting a little girl. After exclusively dressing a boy for ten years, I’m in a whole new world and loving every minute of it. I can’t seem to stop buying dresses, tutus and all things glittery and girly. Thankfully it seems she likes it too. I love it even more when I find a store that I can shop for them both at like Crazy8. Definitely makes my busy life much easier. Crazy8 has long been a favorite of mine when it came time to pick up new clothes for my son. So when they asked to partner with me on some of their new Spring looks for the kids, I couldn’t wait to say yes!
As he’s gotten older, his style has changed a bit but he knows what he likes. Right now he’s all about shirts with different sayings on them. It’s a great way for him to show off his silly personality. So as we checked out the Crazy8.com together, it didn’t take him long before he found something he liked.
The Wait! What? shirt is totally him and the gray shorts are perfect for the warm days we’re having. Right now he paired it with sneakers but on those hot summer days that are coming a pair of flip flops and sunglasses are all he needs to complete the look.
My daughter, even though she’s little she knows what she likes. She’s an independent little firecracker and I just love that about her. When it comes time to shop for her, it’s an easy yes or no when it comes to an outfit. I picked out this purple dress with the matching headband and this cute little jean vest to wear over top.
Have you shopped Crazy8 before? Check them out and tell me your favorite Spring look!
