Thank you to Mazda for loaning us the 2017 Mazda CX-3.
Over the last week we had the pleasure of driving the 2017 Mazda CX-3. It came at the perfect time, the calm before the holiday storm if you will. I planned a few road trips to visit some local holiday attractions like Sesame Place, a holiday light show and even a little holiday shopping before the hectic holiday season takes over. While smaller than we are used to, the 2017 Mazda CX-3 really surprised me with it’s smooth ride, comfortable seats and roomy interior.
While a subcompact crossover SUV wouldn’t be my first choice for a family car, I quickly changed my mind. It comfortably fit our family of four even with the rear-facing car sear. Neither my husband or I had any complaints about front seat space. Back seat it comfortable fit my son and the baby’s seat but that it’s. My nephew wanted to come along on a ride with us to the holiday light show and it wasn’t a comfortable fit so they had to ride apart. Maybe without a child in a car seat it would be a bit roomier.
While not a deal breaker at all, it’s definitely worth mentioning if you’re looking for a backseat to hold more than two.
One of my favorite features was the two-tone interior. I loved the cream colored leather with the black and dark red trim. It gave the car a sporty look great for anyone.
The car as a sport look and feel and with 29 combine MPG a pretty decent fuel economy.
The CX-3 Grand Touring AWD had plenty of options I’ve grown to love like a push button start, sunroof and 18 in-alloy wheels.
Sticker price as driven $28,510
Overall it’s a great little car and really enjoyed driving it.
