Cool off with these delicious and easy to make homemade Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles. Made with fresh or frozen strawberries, it’s the perfect treat on a hot afternoon.

Homemade Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Within the past week the temperature has really gone up. I was just complaining to my husband that it was still so chilly for May last week, then BOOM! This week the temperature has been in the high 80s/90s. When the weather heats up, one thing my oldest starts asking for every time we go to the grocery store is ice pops. You know the ones, the bright colored, full of I don’t know what, pops. Don’t get me wrong I buy them here and there but where’s the fun in that? I’d rather make my own popsicles and it’s much easier than you think.

Plus you can really customize the flavors of the popsicles, like these, to your tastes and liking. These Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles are a great choice!

They’re made with only a few ingredients like fresh strawberries and yogurt with no added sugar.

Two years ago, when I was still pregnant, we went to Disneyland and I had the most amazing strawberry fruit pop. It had only 3 or 4 ingredients and it was the most amazing, refreshing thing I had the entire trip.

I craved those popsicles throughout the remainder of my pregnancy so I created my own and have been making homemade fruit pops regularly since.

It’s also an easy way to get the kids in the kitchen helping you cook. Ry loves helping me make them and the baby, well for now, she enjoys playing with the bowls and spoons.

Another great thing about making your own is being able to create your own flavor combinations. If you have a picky eater, you could even hid veggies in there. I do that with my homemade smoothie pops and the kids are non the wiser.

The possibilities are endless and the results are always delicious.

There’s no added sugar in this recipe making these popsicles a healthier choice than what I can buy in the store and they’re something I don’t mind giving, even the little one, on a hot day.

Especially the little one. She loved them and has already tried more than once to open the freezer to get more. I can’t wait to try some other different flavor combinations this summer.
