It’s no secret I have a love for avocados. I’d eat them all day long if I could and truth be told, sometimes I do eat them several times a day. I even put them in my smoothies! That’s why when I need a quick and delicious breakfast, this 5 Minute Avocado & Egg Toast with a delicious cup of coffee is my go-to.
Since I love avocados so much, avocado toast is a favorite because of how simple it is to make. I chopped up half an avocado and mashed it with a drizzle of olive oil, one clove of fresh garlic crushed and some black pepper. While I’m making this, I have two eggs cooking on the stove. Sunny side up are my favorite but any way you like them in fine.
Spread the mashed avocado on two pieces of toast, top with your eggs and a sprinkle of sea salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes for a little kick.

5 Minute Avocado Toast with Egg Recipe
There’s no excuse to skip breakfast when this Avocado Toast with Egg can be ready in just five minutes.
- 1/2 Avocado chopped
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic chopped
- salt (pepper, crushed red pepper flakes)
- 2 eggs
- 2 pieces of toast
- In a bowl smash avocado, olive oil and garlic with the back of a fork
- Cook 2 eggs to you liking
- Spread avocado onto each piece of toast
- Top with eggs
- Season with salt, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes
