A Popcorn Turkey?

Can you believe Thanksgiving is here!!??  I can’t…I don’t know where this last year has gone but I do know this is my favorite time of year.   One of our Thanksgiving traditions has been making a “popcorn turkey”.  I’ve made one of these for the past few years for our Thanksgiving night snack.   We usually go to my family’s for Thanksgiving and our dinner is more like a lunch since we eat early in the afternoon.   Once we get home and settled in, we relax and watch movies as a family.   Instead of throwing popcorn in a bowl, I throw it in turkey.   Then, as we watch our movies, we carve into our turkey!

It’s really easy to make and almost too cute to eat!  All you need is popcorn (a lot), a supermarket brown bag (new), 2 brown lunch bags some white paper and that’s it!   You flip the large bag inside out, fill with popcorn, fill the smaller bags with popcorn and attached them to the large bag like drumsticks and that’s it.

I’ve even made these for school to send in for a class Thanksgiving treat!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
