One of the highlights of our Disney Alaska Cruise was finally being able to take my daughter to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. On our previous trips, she either was old enough (kids need to be 3 years old) or we just didn’t have the time (at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration earlier this ear). Since she was finally old enough and we had plenty of time on our 7-day cruise, I knew I had to make it happen. I was surprised by how many people told me that they didn’t even know the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was available on the Disney Wonder! Not only is the boutique located on the Disney Wonder but it’s available on all four of the Disney Cruise ships! If you’re planning a Disney Cruise, here’s what you need to know about booking your little princess or prince an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the Disney Wonder or any of the other ships.
I was hosted as a guest of Disney Cruise Line onboard the Disney Wonder to Alaska. All opinions of this magical trip are my own.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the Disney Wonder is the perfect way for your little one to be transformed into their favorite princess, prince, knight or ship captain or pirate!
BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
Once your cruise is paid in full you’ll be a able to book your apportionment. Since our Alaska cruise was booked only month before we sailed, I waited until we were on board to try and get an appointment. It was super simple.
I just went up to the boutique to book my appointment or you could just call right from your room. I was lucky that they had a few appointments left so we were able to get her in easily.
Depending on your cruise, I would expect certain nights, like Pirate Night on the Caribbean cruises, to fill up quickly and that option may not be available once you book.
THE CAPTAIN’S PACKAGE EXPERIENCE
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the Disney Wonder is located on Deck 10, forward. Inside, the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training were all so kind and helpful and made Evie feel like a princess the minute she walked in.
Once you check in for your appointment, your Fairy Godmother-in-Training will escort your child to their chair to being the makeover.
First order of business is choosing the hairstyle. Your child will either get to pick the Fairy-Tale Princess which is a tight bun complete with a tiara and Mickey hair clip or the Disney Diva, which is a a look that comes with clip in hair pieces.
My daughter was all about that tiara so she picked the Fairy-Tale Princess look. Once her hairstyle was picked out, her Fairy Godmother-in-Training painted her nails, which may have been her favorite part of the makeover!
She loved how sparkly they were.
As her nails dried, she started on her hairstyle followed by her makeup. She really made sure to ask Evie throughout the makeover for her thoughts and let her pick her own makeup colors and everything.
Once everything was done, it was time to sprinkle the new princess with pixie dust. The children are given a plastic shield to cover their faces while they sprinkle pixie dust on their hair.
We brought our own Elsa dress that she wore down to the boutique from our room. If you don’t have a dress, don’t fret. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the Disney Wonder is stocked with the perfect outfit to transform your little one into the princesses of their dreams.
If princesses aren’t their thing, there are options like a captain outfit, knight and for Pirate Night, pirate makeovers.
Our entire makeover took about 30 minutes or so and truthfully, I wasn’t sure how she would do. There are times I can’t get her to let me do her hair let alone a complete stranger.
I can happily admit that by the end of our appointment, she loved her Fairy Godmother and she was beyond excited with her Elsa makeover.

IS BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE ONBOARD THE DISNEY WONDER THE PRICE?
I have to say a resounding YES! I’m all for experiences over spending money on toys or souvenirs that they don’t really need and won’t use after a trip so this was definitely worth the price for the experience.
We went with the Crown Package since I already had a dress I wanted her to wear that she loves.
So at the price of $64.95, I though that was really reasonable for everything. Not to mention it made her feel like a REAL princess.
Watching her confidence and smile as she walked around the ship the day, made it worth every penny.
If budget is a concern, the Captain’s Package and the Knight Package for boys is a great option. If you’re not worried about the budget then the other packages are definitely worth it.
The dresses were gorgeous and I thought the quality was really nice.
Check out this video of Evie’s princess makeover onboard the Disney Wonder.
Once her appointment was finished, I grabbed my camera for a mini photoshoot on the ship. It worked our perfectly since we had just arrived to the ice fields at Tracey Arm Fjord.
The ice fields were the perfect backdrop for her Queen Elsa look and made sure to get plenty of photos.

Hi! They let 4 of us in. Myself, my husband, my teen son and of course my daughter. Unless something has changed (to my knowledge it hasn't) but they should let everyone in. Hope this helps! -Dawn
