We try to schedule a night out to eat at least once or twice a month. School, work and everything else seem to get in the way more often than not so it’s nice to be able to get out together with just my husband or together as a family. Since my husband and I both love seafood, it’s not uncommon for us visit Bonefish Grill on those nights out. I mean who can really resist their Bang Bang Shrimp? That seriously may be my favorite appetizer ever. Last week we were invited out toe our local Bonefish Grill in Marlton, New Jersey to taste some of their new menu items for October.
To celebrate National Seafood Month, Bonefish Grill created a three-course dinner for two priced at $50 featuring a choice of entree, complimented by signature appetizer Bang Bang Shrimp (my favorite) and a delectable dessert to share.
Once I saw the entrees, which included fall favorite Fresh Swordfish with Pumpkin Ravioli, NEW Wild Snapper & Shrimp, NEW Cedar Plank Maple Bourbon Salmon and regional wood-grilled fish selections, I knew we had to try these out.
They did not disappoint. When it comes to seafood I’m a shrimp, tilapia, that’s pretty much all I’ll eat type of gal. Where my husband will eat any seafood you put in front of him. Once our waiter went over the menu with us, I decided to be daring and try something new and I’m so glad I did.
I went with the Wild Oscar Mahi Mahi and it was amazingly delicious. It had just a hint of lemon for a delicious, fresh taste and it was topped with crab meat. I honestly can’t believe I’ve been missing out on crab all these years. Why didn’t someone tell me it was this good?!
My husband opted for the Swordfish and Pumpkin Ravioli which I tried as well.
It was just as delicious as my meal and the pumpkin ravioli was the perfect side.
The three-course dinner came with my favorite appetizers, Bang Bang Shrimp.
This crunchy, breaded shrimp served with a creamy, spicy sauce is a little bit of happiness on plate (or bowl in this case).
It even came with a dessert. Since we could’t decide on one, we had two! We had to try their Pumpkin Creme Brûlée which was delectable. Just the right amount of pumpkin flavor in every bite.
We also had their delicious brownie served with vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream and raspberry sauce.
If you’re looking for a delicious night out to enjoy some amazing seafood, head on over to Bonefish Grill and try their latest menu offering. You won’t be disappointed.
