While in Baltimore last week we had a chance to eat at some of the location restaurants that we don’t have here in New Jersey. When we were planning out our trip, I wanted to make sure we tried some new foods and restaurants while we were in the area. Since my husband and I love seafood, I knew one restaurant we just had to eat at was Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Yes, the Bubba Gump from the movie Forrest Gump. We’ve never eaten here before but I’ve heard great things about it and their menu so we were thrilled to be invited out to check out their menu and some of their delicious dinner options.
The restaurant is located right in the Inner Harbor facing the water. You can eat inside or at the tables outside and enjoy your meal with a great view of the harbor. It was pretty hot during our visit so we opted for inside in the cool air.
The restaurant has a fun, casual theme seafood theme.
There’s plenty of seating indoors with table and booth options.
Once we got settled in our booth, I set the kids up with the menu for my oldest to see what he wanted and my little one was preoccupied with the crayons they gave her so that gave me a few minutes to look over the menu.
Everything looked so good on the menu it was hard to decide what to try first. We decided on Sweet Fire Shrimp to start us off.
Best decision of the day. This stuff is seriously amazing ya’ll! Sweet, spicy and full of flavor in every bite. I could eat this everyday. It’s that good.
When it came time to order our meals, I went with their “I’m Stuffed!” Shrimp. A delicious plate of large shrimp stuffed with a crab stuffing baked with a garlic butter sauce and served with Jasmine Rice.
Every bite was stuffed with delicious crab and shrimp with just the right amount of garlic flavor. This girl was one happy diner.
My husband opted for the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi. By this point in the meal, I was so busy eating my dinner, I didn’t get a chance to try his aside from a grilled shrimp. Which was delicious.
I already knew he loved it by the simple fact that there was nothing left on his plate.
The kids were really excited to see their meal come served in a cute paper fishing boat tray. My oldest has a seafood allergy so he went with a burger. Our waitress made sure to alert the kitchen staff to his allergy and made sure his burger did not come in contact with any seafood. My youngest went with chicken fingers that were really yummy. I may have had a bite or two, you know just to make sure they were good for her to eat!
I’m not sure how we had any room left for dessert but when our waitress, Miss Helen, suggested we try the “Best of the Best” dessert sampler, I knew we had to give it a go. It did not disappoint.
Everything was so delicious and filling. Their menu has something for the whole family to enjoy and we can’t wait to eat here again on our next visit. If you’re heading to the Baltimore area make sure you check out everything Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has to offer!

Those french fries! That dessert! I want to go so badly. There’s one in Orlando that we may hit this winter.
We’ve visiting Orlando later this year and will have to try that one too! Everything was so yummy!
I’ve been to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Gatlinburg, TN! I’m not much of a seafood fan but I had their burger and it was good! Next time I go, I’m going to have to try that dessert! 🙂
My son had a burger and said the same thing! He really like it. Plus there’s the dessert. It was delicious!
Isn’t the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co awesome?! I love how laid back the restaurant is and their shrimp is fab!!
I have never been to a Bubba Gump. Seeing your review makes me want to stop by one. Yummy!
We always passed Bubba’s on the way in to Disney World but never stopped because, Disney! But next time we’re in Orlando (we go often) we’re definitely going to eat here!
I’ve had Bubba Gump the first time a few years in Orlando. Absolutely LOVED their restaurant, (I’m a big seafood fan!!). Thanks for sharing your review!
