My love for buffalo chicken runs deep. Whether it’s wings, buffalo chicken dip or my current favorite buffalo chicken burgers, I could eat the stuff all day long. I’ve always loved spicy foods so the heat is never an issue and for me sometimes the hotter, the better. These burgers have just the right amount of kick to them but the blue cheese and creamy ranch dressing are the perfect toppings to cool it down a bit.
I seriously can’t get enough of these burgers. I regretfully only made these once or twice last summer but this year that is going to change.
They make a great addition to your backyard barbecue or just a change from a regular beef burger. Whatever your reason for making these buffalo chicken burgers, once you do, you’ll be hooked.
The ingredient list is pretty simple too, just some ground chicken, buffalo wing sauce, garlic and some panko breadcrumbs.
Once all the ingredients are combined, gently form into burger patties and grill these babies up. You can totally pan fry them too or grill them indoors or outdoors. I love my indoor grill and use to for everything.
It really comes in handy for recipes like this when I’m craving a grilled burger but the weather is too icky to physically go out and grill.
There’s no wrong way to cook them and they’ll taste amazing whichever way you decide.
Once they were done cooking, I placed a piece of lettuce on the bun with a thin slice of cheddar cheese on top. Then I put the hot burger patty right on to melt the cheese. I topped them off with a drizzle of buffalo wing sauce, some crumbled blue cheese chunks and some ranch dressing.
Serve them up with a side of buffalo wing sauce and ranch for dipping and all that’s left is to enjoy these delicious burgers.
So tell me, have you tried buffalo chicken burgers before? What did you think? And if you give this recipe a try come back and tell me what you thought!
