Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Buffalo Chicken Sliders

This review and giveaway was made possible by iConnect Influencer Management and Litehouse Foods. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I’m a buffalo kind of everything girl. Buffalo wings, buffalo chicken pizza, buffalo dip. I can go on and on but you get the idea. If I had my choice take out nights would also include buffalo wings for me. It was my craving for buffalo wings the other day that had me create these Buffalo Chicken Sliders. I’ve been trying to cut back on the amount of eating out we do (it’s a lot) and focus on cooking more at home. Sometimes it’s all about time and the reason takeout becomes such an easy choice. This recipe is one that’s quick and easy and definitely going into regular rotation at my house.

I had picked up a back of ground chicken for another recipe when I was seriously in the mood for some buffalo wings. I remembered my goal of cutting back on take out and decided to make something at home instead. I grabbed my favorite wing sauce, a bottle of Litehouse Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing and some spices for a dinner that can be whipped up no time at all.

The blu cheese dressing cools the heat from the wing sauce perfectly that even my kids loved them.

Once they were done, I set them out on the table and called everyone to dinner. These little sliders were gone so quick and everyone was asking for more.

The great thing about this recipe is you can cook these inside or even out on the grill on these hot summer days. It was rainy the day I made them or I would these would have definitely been grilled buffalo chicken sliders.

They’d also make great party food. Whether you’re cooking for a special event or a family picnic, these can be made ahead of time and just cooked prior to the party.

Buffalo Chicken Sliders

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup of buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. Litehouse Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing plus more for drizzling/dipping
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Sprinkle of salt
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan
  2. In a bowl mix ground chicken, buffalo wing sauce, blue cheese dressing, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Combine and form into small burger patties.
  3. Fry each burger 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Serve on slider rolls with lettuce and drizzle with more hot sauce and bleu cheese dressing

I’m so glad I already had these ingredients on hand since they complemented each other perfectly. Litehouse Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing is always in my fridge as my dressing of choice for salads and so much more.  With It was perfect in this recipe.
