One of the best parts of a trip to Walt Disney World besides the rides, the characters and all the fun is the FOOD! Everywhere you turn at the parks and even at the hotels is all the wonderful food. We always treat ourselves to one of the world famous cinnamon rolls on our trip from the Main Street Bakery or Gaston’s Tavern. It’s just so delicious and it’s one treat that is always a must do. In between trips, I like to try to re-create some of our favorite recipes at home for us to enjoy until we can get back to all the magic. These Mickey Cinnamon Rolls are one of these recipes. Not only is it already September but the month is almost half over. That means in just a few short weeks we’ll be celebrating all things spooky with Halloween right around the corner. Halloween is my favorite time of year. I have a tendency to go overboard decorating the house and really getting into the Halloween spirit. I look forward to dressing up just as much as the kids and I can’t wait to start thinking about what I’ll be this year. Two years ago, I went as one of my favorite Disney Villains – Maleficent. One of our favorite ways to wind down after a busy week is to relax at home together for a family movie night. We all take turns picking out the newest release or our favorite family friendly title, I’ll whip up a fun snack or even an all out themed dinner depending on how busy our week was and how much time I have. Then we’ll all sit down and just spend some quality time together as a family. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do. We’ve been doing this since my son was a little boy and now that he’s 12, I’m quickly reminded how fast the time goes by. It makes me appreciate these little moments even more. We’ve had a Moana movie marathon going on in our house since last week. When we arrived home from the Poconos we had a package on our doorstep and both kids rushed to grab it. They knew it was a movie and were thrilled to see Moana in there! They’ve been begging to see this since we missed it when it was in theaters. I thought Evie might be too little to sit through an entire movie when it was release so this was one we were waiting for on DVD. Well that day is finally here! While we may have had a sneak peek last week, you can own it on Blu-ray today! It’s quickly become a family favorite and we’re watched it at least 5 times already! Since it was a little chilly this weekend, we hung out at home and had our own little Moana movie night. Made with @READSalads, It’s one of those quick and dishes that once you make it once, it’ll become your go-to dish! * Drain 2 cans READ 3-Bean Salad over a medium bowl; reserve 3 tablespoons liquid. In a large bowl, combine drained 3-Bean Salad, 1 cup of grape tomatoes halved, 1/2 cup chopped olives, 1 cup Feta cheese, 1 cup of cooked quinoa, and ½ diced bell pepper; toss gently.
