Whether you’re a seasoned angler or someone who wants to take the kids to the lake for a little fishing, New Jersey free fishing days are a great way to get out there and get your feet wet. This year New Jersey has two FREE fishing days. One in the Spring and another in the Fall.  On these special days fishing is allowed on New Jersey’s public waters without a license or trout stamp. Growing up one of my favorite hobbies was fishing with my dad. I looked forward to early morning wake-ups and heading out with my fishing pole and worms hoping to catch a big one.
