This new, 121-acre amusement park was inspired by the legacy of founder Milton S. Hershey and is set to open in Summer 2020. October is one of my favorite months of the year. I love the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves and everything about fall, especially Halloween. My kids have been asking to go back to Hersheypark and since we’ve never been during Halloween, I thought it was the perfect time for a last minute getaway. There’s no shortage of hotels in the Hershey Harrisburg area and for this trip, we enjoyed a stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Hershey. Traveling with a toddler and a teenager means I need to make sure our hotel rooms are big for all of us, are central to the area we’re visiting and bonus points for a pool and free breakfast.   • Still one of my favorite memories! Dale grabbed Evie’s hand and took her to roast some marshmallows on our Disney Cruise 🚢 to Alaska. Hard to believe that was almost a year ago! As we gear up for a busy few months of travel and adventure, I’m reminded just how grateful I am for all our adventures.   • Do you have a favorite resort at Walt Disney World? We’ve stayed at so many it’s tough for me to pick a favorite. Last November we stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved it! The kids loved watching the animals, especially the giraffes 🦒. Our room faced the Savannah and it anytime we were in the room, they raced out there to try and spot the animals.
