What isn’t there to do at Crystal Springs Resort. Our visit was in February right after a major snowstorm so the drive in was extra pretty with snow top mountains and trees lining our drive.

If food is the way to your hear, the resort has 12 seasonal restaurants and cafes and menus featuring over 100 locally sourced ingredients.

While not all of the restaurants were open during our stay, we did have a chance to try a few of them.

The locally sourced ingredients, amazing views and all around good food made this resort one of my favorite dining experiences.

My favorite experience was the Champagne Chalet. It was the perfect dinner under the stars with some amazing views to boot.

If you’re looking to relax and unwind the hotel has you covered. The hotel offers two award-winning spas to help tame your tension. Reflections Spa and Elements Spa both provide an amazing relaxation experience.

Inside these unique spas you’ll find an extensive selection of beauty treatments, massage therapies and high-end facilities.

Biosphere Pool Complex

Located at The Grand Cascades Lodge, The Biosphere Pool Complex is the first structure of its kind in the U.S. to incorporate advanced German Foiltec roofing material, allowing nearly 100% light transmission for year-round tanning.

In addition, a retractable roof which produces an extraordinary outdoor effect is a truly singular offering in the Northeast.

The exotic freeform pools are surrounded by lush tropical foliage which was specially transported to be housed in the Biosphere. You truly feel like you’re on a tropical island and not in the snow capped mountains of New Jersey.

In fact, if was my families favorite spot. We spent more time at the pool than anywhere else during our stay.

Also located at The Grand Cascades Lodge is the Vista 180° Pool Complex. This is an outdoor pool open in the warmer months that showcase amazing Mountain Views wherever you look.

Mineral Pool Complex

Another indoor pool is located at the Minerals Hotel. This pool is open June – September.

I’ll be the first to say there really isn’t any reason to leave the resort. The hotel and our suite had everything a family could need on vacation, including complimentary board games. My daughter still plays her Candyland game every chance she gets.

If you find yourself wanting to do a little more, NYC is only about an hour away and there is a host of things to do, depending on the time of year, in the surrounding area. CLICK HERE to see some of the area attractions you may want to do while you’re in town.
