For the past seven days, I had the pleasure of calling Disney’s Yacht Club Resort home. When I found out that this is where we’d be staying for this year’s Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I was ecstatic. I’ve never stayed here before and have only seen the resort while on one of the river boats that dropped off from Epcot. I spent plenty of nights leanring about the resort and studying pictures online but nothing compares to the real thing. When our Magical Express bus pulled up, we were quickly greeted by friendly cast members waiting and a gorgeous hotel that you just have to see in person.
I checked in online ahead of time so it was just a matter of stopping by the front desk to get our papers and off we were. We were given our room number and we were all set to. We headed right to our room to let the baby and my hubby nap for a bit before we headed out to the parks.
Our room was huge! We typially stay in the moderate resorts like Caribbean Beach Resort (love those Pirate Rooms) or Port Orleans and this was our first time staying in a deluxe resort.
It was everything I could have expected and more.
We had plenty of room for all our bags, car seat and the baby stroller without feeling cramped. When you travel with an infant, you have a lot of things so the extra space was nice.
There was even a sleeper sofa that my son immediately claimed as his own. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept so well we didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning.
One of the best things about Yacht Club and Beach Club is it’s proximitey to Epcot. A short five minute walk has you right at the back of the World Showcase and we never had a wait at the entrance. We loved that perk and actually spent a lot more time in Epcot this trip because of how convenient it was.
We loved being so close to the water and even enjoyed dinner on the beach one night.
We will definitely be back to stay at this gorgeous resort. Have you stayed at Disney’s Yacht Club before?

Disclosure: I was invited to the 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. I paid a conference fee to attend and were given discounted amenities and more. All opinions are my own.
