Make your own DIY Unicorn headband with this simple tutorial!

This post is #sponsoredcontent by Hasbro, but all opinions are my own.

If you have some unicorn loving kids at home then you’re going to love Hasbro’s latest collection of furReal pet toys at Walmart. The assortment of unicorn toys is sure to bring a smile to anyone loving the mythical creatures. To celebrate the friendship between my daughter and Blossom, My Besticorn Interactive Pet, I made her a DIY unicorn headband that looks like Blossom! Keep reading for the super simple tutorial.

Learning through play is a huge part of our homeschool curriculum and we love to incorporate DIY crafts whenever we can.

This simple DIY is so easy even the kids can do with with a little help from mom or dad.

To make this simple unicorn headband you’ll need a few things:

  • Light pink felt
  • Light purple felt
  • Blue felt
  • Headband
  • Cotton Balls
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hair extensions in light blue and light purple

First cut the unicorn horn from the blue felt. Glue the sides together and stuff with cotton balls. Then glue the bottom.

Cut the ears from the pink felt.

Then cut the purple felt for the inner ear (make it slightly smaller than the pink). Glue the purple onto the pink.

Attach the unicorn horn and the ears onto the headband with more hot glue.

Once dry, flip the headband over and attach the hair extensions to the back.

Let dry completely and your DIY Unicorn Headband is complete.
