Easter is under a week away and I still have no idea what I’m doing for the day. And if I’m being honest, I haven’t even shopped for Easter Baskets yet. One recipe I do know that I’ll be making is this Easter Carrot Cheese Ball. It’s literally one of the easiest recipes you’ll ever make and probably one of the most delicious one too.

It literally has just 5 ingredients.  It’s Keto friendly and can be whipped up in minutes.

I truly don’t think recipes that taste this good can be any easier.

You just need cream cheese, some sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder and cheddar cheese.

This is my go-to cheese ball recipe that I’ve used for years. Whenever I’m hosting  a last minute get together or a full blown holiday party, this simple cheese ball recipe is always a hit.

Everyone loves it. One taste and it’s easy to see why. It has simple ingredients that pair perfectly together making for a delicious cheese ball.

Only this time it’s a carrot shaped cheese ball. It’s fun. It’s festive and it’s easy peasy.

Did I mention how easy it is to make? I think that might just be my favorite part.

You can make to bring along  if you’re visiting family or friends for the holiday. You can take it your child’s school or any office party.

I like to keep it simple and serve with crackers but there’s no wrong way to serve this cheese ball. Some other ideas to serve with it are:

  • Carrot Sticks
  • Celery Sticks
  • Pepper Sticks
  • Pita Chips
  • Crostini
  • Pear Slices
  • Apple Slices

You can even create an entire charcuterie board around this cheese ball. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered there too. Look for that in another post coming this week.

HOW LONG WILL THE EASTER CARROT CHEESE BALL LAST

I’ve kept mine for 3-4 days in the fridge but honestly it’s never truly lasted that long. If I’m hosting a party, I’ll usually make it the day before.

When I just make one for us, it’s usually gone in a day or two.

HOW TO MAKE THIS 5-INGREDIENT EASTER CARROT CHEESE BALL

Earlier when I said this Easter Carrot Cheese Ball was easy to make, I wasn’t kidding. First you’ll need your ingredients.

  • 2 packs of cream cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Finely shredded Cheddar Cheese (just grab a bag or shred yourself.)

Before you get ready to make this recipe. Grab your cream cheese fro the fridge and let it sit out on the counter for a little bit. Room temperature cream cheese is easier to work with.

Gently remove carrot shaped cheese ball from the wax paper and place on serving tray.

Add some greens (what you have on hand can work) to the top. I used Arugula because that's what I had on hand. You could use actually greens from carrots, herbs, etc.
