I can’t believe Easter is in two days. I feel really behind this year and haven’t even picked up things I need for Easter dinner yet. Thankfully I have today and tomorrow to shop for a few things and put the final touches on my menu. One thing I know I am making are these Bunny Cinnamon Rolls. They are super easy to make, so easy my eleven year old son made them by himself. They’re that easy. So if you’re like me and need an easy breakfast because Easter mornings are hectic or want a cute dessert to serve that will only take a few minutes, then I’ve got the perfect treat for you!
All you need is a can of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls and a can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. The Grands! are for the bunny head and the regular cinnamon rolls are used for it’s ears.
That’s it. Of course you can get creative and use things like jelly beans or chocolate chips to decorate cute little faces on the bunnies or you can keep it simple like I did. Either way they’re delicious!
Open the Grands! Cinnamon rolls and place them on your baking sheet leaving room for the ears.
Next, open you can of regular cinnamon rolls and place them on a cutting board. Cut them in half. Shape each half into the shape of a bunny ear. We went with one straight up and one a little floppy.
Once they’re cut place them on top of the larger rolls and press down to seal the dough together.
Once they’re all done, bake according to the package directions.
When they’re done, let cool for a minute or two and transfer to a serving plate. Add the icing and any decorations (if you want decorations).
That’s it! I told you this would be one easy dessert! We’ve been making these for Easter for the past few years and we look forward to making them every year.
Check out the video to see just how easy it is!
Hope you enjoy these easy bunny cinnamon rolls with your family.
