These are no ordinary nachos! Spice up your dinner menu with these delicious Fish Stick Nachos!
This post is in partnership with Gorton’s Seafood. All opinions are my own.
I’m always looking for new ways to put a spin on family favorite recipes. Nachos and fish sticks are two dishes my kids love. The other night my youngest was asking for nachos but things had been a little hectic and I didn’t have time to hit the grocery store so we were all out of tortilla chips. I looked in the freeze and saw we had their other favorite – Gorton’s. Fish Sticks and I knew exactly what I was going to make. Just like that Fish Stick Nachos has quickly become a family favorite.
The star of this Fish Stick Nachos Recipe is without a doubt the Gorton’s Fish Sticks. My kids would eat these every day if I let them.
Baked to perfection with a nice crispy crunch, I topped the fish sticks with our favorite toppings like I would with regular nachos.
Avocados, tomatoes, some onions and a little bit of jalapeño peppers rounded out the toppings list along with a nice sprinkle of cilantro.
I even made a spicy tarter sauce to drizzle over the Fish Stick Nachos and it complemented the recipe perfectly.
I’ve never seen my kids gobble down a dinner so fast and head back for seconds without any prompting from me.
That’s how I know it was a hit! It’s actually been requested every week since I made them for the first time.
The great thing about this recipe is how simple it is to change it up. Simply swap out certain toppings or even add your favorites to really customize this dinner to your family’s liking. You cannot go wrong!
For the sauce, I used our favorite tarter sauce and mixed it with some sweet chili sauce that gave the Fish Stick Nachos a little kick.
