This post, Go RVing at The Resort at Massey’s Landing, is in partnership with GoRVing. *This post was updated August 2018
So you’ve decided you want to plan an RV vacation. You’ve picked out your RV, whether you recently purchased the perfect one for your family or you’ve rented one for your journey, the next step is picking the perfect destination. Maybe you want to go off the grid and really take camping seriously. Or maybe your more like me and need to be still near civilization, so an RV resort is a better choice. When we started planning our trip with GoRVing, I knew we wanted to go somewhere where we could do a little fishing and since it was my first time driving something this big, I didn’t want to go too far from home. No cross country trips this time, maybe next year! When I came across The Resort at Massey’s Landing, I knew it was the perfect resort to try our hand at RV camping.
The Resort at Massey’s Landing is a luxury campground and RV park located right in the Delaware Seashore area. When I think of camping, I don’t immediately think of luxury. My only experience camping prior to this trip was the one Cub Scout camping trip I did with my son years ago.
I was horrified by the bugs, ticks and don’t even get me started on the outside potty I needed to use in the middle of the night after a day of boys spraying it down. Y’all I’m still horrified from it and I said never again. NEVER again.
While I’m not big on tent camping, an RV is a whole new ball game. You’re treated to all the comforts of home like a fridge, indoor bathroom and shower, bed and air conditioning in a mobile environment. This allows you to really travel and see the country
Our RV for this trip was a 2017 Minnie Winnie. With all the amenities of home, I quickly fell in love with the RV lifestyle. I even had my husband researching purchasing our own after we got home from our trip. It’s easy to see
Camping in an RV is how all camping should be! Combine that with a stay at an RV resort like The Resort at Massey’s Landing and you’ll easily have a vacation you’ll want to replicate year after year.
