Kids can be messy, no matter how nice they’re dressed or where you take them, they know where to find the messes. One of our favorite holiday traditions is visiting the Christmas tree farm. Our local farm kicks off the season with plenty of fun, outdoor activities for the kids and it’s a great way to enjoy the spirit of the holidays and have a lot of fun together as a family. They have everything from a holiday hayride, barnyard animals, pick-your-own Christmas trees and it all ends with a visit with Santa himself. It’s one of our favorite places to visit during the holidays and I let them go, have fun and get as messy as they want.
I don’t worry about stains like I used to thanks to Persil® ProClean® laundry detergent. I picked up a trial size bottle and it did a great job helping to keep our clothes clean and helped tackle even the dirtiest stains from the farm.
It’s become a tradition in our house to visit at least once every year. Sometimes we’ll even make a few trips especially if the weather is nice.
I think the kids loved picking out a tree the most. They love to run up and down the aisles looking for the perfect tree and maybe play a little game of hide and seek too. Once our tree is picked, we head inside to grab some of their delicious apple cider donuts and fresh apple cider before we head over to see Santa.
Now, of course, we come home from our little adventure a tad bit dirty. After all, we did spend most of the day at a farm and my kids seem to know exactly where to find the dirt. Since I love picking up all the cute holiday outfits and shirts for the kids, when they get dirty, I need to make sure I get them clean and looking new for them to wear the rest of the holiday season.
I found the Persil® ProClean® 10.1-ounce trial size in Target® (on one of my many shopping trips there lately) and I was genuinely pleased with how great it works.
Since it’s important to treat stains as soon as possible (don’t let them sit like me, it’s harder to remove them when you do this), I made sure to wash our clothes as soon as we got home.
I poured enough detergent to cover the stain and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Then I washed the clothes in the warmest water safe for these items (always double check your tags if you’re not sure) with a dose of Persil® laundry detergent.
Before I threw them in the dryer, I checked to make sure the stains were removed and then I dried them.
I was pleasantly pleased with the results.. It’s a stain fighting, whitening, and brightening detergent ready to tackle your toughest stains.
Give it a try! The Persil® trial size bottle contains enough for 6 loads and retails for only $1.99. The perfect price to try it out and it’s great for traveling too! Be sure to look on the back of the bottle for a coupon to save $2 on your next full-size purchase.
