Crafting has never been easier thanks to the new Cricut Joy. The newest machine to the Cricut family may be small but it’s definitely mighty. The Cricut Joy is the smallest cutting and writing machine out there making it easy to take it on-the-go with you so you can craft practically anywhere. Today I’m going to show you how to make your own fancy birthday card in just minutes with the Cricut Joy.
You’ll never spend money again on those fancy greeting cards. Now you can just make your own and personalize it just how you like it.
If you ever spend hours in a card shop trying to find the perfect card and wished you could just make one yourself, then this tutorial is for you.
Given the state of the current pandemic and our lockdown here in New Jersey, heading out to pick up a birthday card for my nephew’s birthday this weekend is nearly impossible.
It’s bad enough that his 13th birthday is being spent in lockdown and no party with his family and friends, I couldn’t not have a birthday card for him.
Enter the Cricut Joy. It arrived just in time for his birthday this weekend and while we may not be able to celebrate with him, we can still let him know we’re thinking of him by driving by his house (and making a lot of noise) and leaving his card and present in his mailbox.
Creating the perfect card was easy peasy. I just opened the Cricut Design Space App right on my iPhone and searched for the perfect card.
Once I saw this llama card, I knew it was perfect. He loves llamas (who doesn’t right?) and knew this would be better than any card I could have found in the store.
The app takes you step-by-step through the set-up and gets your design ready to cut.
Within minutes, your design is cutting and you have the perfect card for your celebration.
