Last weekend we celebrated the release of ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE with a fun outer space inspired movie night. We made our own planet pizzas, enjoyed some of our acorn popcorn with the movie and we whipped up these galactic cupcakes for dessert. Fox Home Entertainment sent us an awesome party pack with everything we needed for an out of this world movie night and we enjoyed every minute of the party! Check out all these awesome goodies we received.
Lucky for us the weather was gorgeous last weekend and the sky was clear allowing us to really get some great views of the full moon and night sky.
Once they kids were done playing outside, we moved things indoors for dinner before our movie started. We made create your own planet pizzas and the kids added their favorite toppings.
The kids loved doing this, even the littlest ones.
Since we’re already in the middle of October it’s getting dark earlier now so after dinner we kept the party inside, turned off all the lights and brought out the Smithsonian Planetarium Projector to showcase a light show on the walls. This is such a great projector and everything was so visible on the walls and ceiling. My son claimed this for his room and he uses it everyday.
Once it was time for our main attraction, the kids changed into their jammies, everyone grabbed a seat and I grabbed the acorn popcorn we made earlier and we all sat down to enjoy ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE.
We all LOVED the movie. It was such a fun movie night and we can’t wait to watch it again. My youngest let out plenty of baby giggles throughout the movie and my son gave it a thumbs up!
