Prepare for Avengers #InfinityWar with this Iron Man Smoothie Recipe
The movie we’ve all been waiting for is finally in theaters and let it be known, I cannot wait to see this movie. Having seen all of the Avengers movies and their spin-offs, more times than I care to count, this is the one I’ve been waiting for. I’m taking my son to see it tonight but not before we have a little Avengers fun at home with his little sister. Once I screen it, I’ll decide if we’re taking her back to see it this weekend. Growing up with a big brother who’s loves the Marvel and Stat Wars franchises means this little girls is just as big of fan of superheroes as she is princesses. Just like her mama! To celebrate the opening weeking of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, I whipped up this delicious Iron Man Smoothie recipe.
One thing my kids can’t get enough of are smoothies. They’re a delicious way for them to get their fruits and veggies and the flavor combinations are endless making them a fun way to get creative for your movies or characters.
I’ve already made two delicious ones inspired by two of their favorite characters, Iron Man & Hulk. Stay tuned tomorrow for our yummy Hulk Smash Smoothie.Who knows, I might even make one for each of the characters!
This Iron Man inspired smoothie is a delicious blend of orange juice, banana, pineapple and mango with a hint of strawberry topped off with a strawberry smoothie Iron Man.
It’s so yummy, you almost forget it’s actually good for you.
Since we’re having a little Avengers movie marathon at home leading up tonight’s screening of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, this was the perfect treat to go along with the movie.
First, I made the Iron Man masks using my trusty Iron Man mold and frozen strawberries blended with a splash of orange juice. Once it was pureed, I spooned it into the molds and froze them. I made these yesterday since I knew we’d be having our little movie party today.
While my oldest got the smoothie ready, I dipped the glasses in water and then in red sanding sugar.
Once that was done I whipped up the smoothie with my little helper.
I poured the smoothie into the glasses and topped each one with a frozen Iron Man mask.
They were the perfect treat for our Avengers movie marathon!
Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR is now playing in theaters everywhere and we cannot wait to go see it! This movie has literally been 10 years in the making and it’s definitely one you need to see opening weekend.
But remember! No spoilers because #ThanosDemandsYourSilence. In the meantime, try this yummy Iron Man Smoothie and come back here tomorrow for our delicious Hulk smoothie and my spoiler-free thoughts on the movie!
Until then, check out this featurette of the cast talking about family and what it means to them!
