If you’re wondering If buying a Cricut really worth it, read on to see why I love it so much.

WHICH MACHINE SHOULD YOU START WITH?

When you decide to become a part of the Cricut family, the first thing you have to do is decide on which machine you want to start with. There are 3 main machines to choose from. The Cricut Maker, the Explore Air 2 and the Cricut Joy. Each one is unique in it’s own way and I have to say the Explore Air 2 is a great machine to start with.

IT’S EASY TO LEARN

Coming from a Cricut Mini and another machine that I won’t name lol, the Explore Air 2 is a dream to learn on. It seriously is so easy to learn how to use.

Plus there’s a ton of tutorials out there than can help you if you get stuck along the way. I’ve found the Cricut Design Space very user friendly as well as using my machine for everything from cutting to writing.

Whatever project you dream up, the Cricut Explore Air 2 can handle it with ease.  I’ve made containers to hold my cat’s stuff, reusable tote bags, and I even designed my office makeover around my machines. Yup, I love them that much!

THE CRICUT EXPLORE AIR  2 MAKES CRAFTING SO MUCH EASIER

I can’t cut a straight line if my life depended on it. It’s sad, I know but I don’t have to worry about that anymore with the Cricut Explore Air 2. It does the cutting for me perfectly. Every time.

Whether I want to use one of the pre-made designs available with Cricut Access or I want to start from scratch and care my own, the Explore Air 2 makes it easy for me to do it.

REASONS YOU SHOULDN’T BUY A CRICUT

Truthfully I can’t think of many. If you’ve been thinking about getting one then you probably already know you want one. I love my machine and haven’t ran into any issues where I’d advise against it.

The only time I would recommend not getting one is if:

  • You can’t afford it. I don’t recommend going into debt for anything whether it’s travel or crafting
  • You really don’t like crafting. Sure the Cricut will make you want to craft more and more but if you’re just not into it, skip it.
  • If you’re one of those people who buys things and just leaves them in their box.

They’re the only reasons I would advise against buying a Cricut Explore Air 2 or any other Cricut machine.

If you don’t fall into one of those categories, then I highly recommend any of the Cricut machines. My Cricut Explore Air 2 has been keeping me busy during this quarantine and can’t wait to share all of fun things I’m doing with it.

  3. Thanks so much for the chance! There are SO many things I’d love to make, but I would start with matching “cousins” shirts for my daughter, nieces, and nephew, so we could do a big family photoshoot later this year, and surprise my Mom with the pictures. She’d be so surprised and so thrilled. <3

  4. I would use it to cut hundreds of facemasks… we are kitting to give to sewers to sew for healthcare workers and first responders.

  5. Hi I would make team shirts for the 3 cancer walks I do each year in memory of my sister and dad. I would love to make my own shirts.

  6. Oh gosh, I’ve been wanting a Cricut for ages… I have so many projects lined up for when I finally bite the bullet! I think I would try my hand at wooden signs first. 🙂

  7. If I won one of these I would create something meaningful like a sticker or something that I can send my students. The last time we were together was March 12. I would love to create something special for them to hold onto.

  8. We used to use these to make tactile graphics for the blind when I worked at a printing house for the blind. If I won, now that I work from home, I’d start using it to make more graphics. Basically we cut out cardboard and build it up so it can be felt. It’s super cool.

  9. I have wanted one of these for so long. I would love to make cute onesies for my 9 month old and tshirts for my 12 year old. I would also love to make first Birthday decorations for my baby girl. This is so amazing. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
