It’s rare that childcare becomes an issue for my family. With grandparents who are eager to watch the kids any chance they get, it’s not something that I have to worry about too often. I know I’m really lucky in that regard and not everyone has family nearby to help with childcare. So what’s someone to do in that situation? What if your regular babysitter is booked and you need someone to watch the kids? Wouldn’t it be nice if there was somewhere you could count on for childcare when you need it most? Well, there is and it’s called KidsPark.
KidsPark offers hourly childcare days, evenings and weekends and they’re even open until midnight on Friday and Saturdays. The licensed facilities employ Early Childhood Education teachers and no reservations are needed.
You can just drop your kids off for an afternoon of fun so you can keep appointments, run errands, attend school for yourself or just enjoy an evening out with friends or your spouse without planning weeks in advance.
KidsPark is for children ages 2 -11 (although a few centers accept children as young as 12 months) where they can play in a recreation setting. They have games, storytime, art, an indoor play structure and so much more. You can even book a birthday party for your child at KidsPark.
KidsPark is a great option for full day back-up childcare when your regular provider is busy or school is closed for the day.
Every day there are featured activities that include cooking, arts and crafts, sensory exploration, games or hands-on science. All of KidsPark teachers have an Early Childhood background and pass all background checks. You pick your schedule and only pay for the times your attend.
PRIVATE PARTIES AT KIDSPARK
Some centers, like the one in Willow Grove, offer private parties. The KidsPark hostesses take care of the set-up and clean-up and lead games and art activities. Leaving you time to mingle and take pictures with your guests. Parties are available Sunday mornings and evenings when the center is closed to the public.
KidsPark was founded by Debbie Milner in 1988 from personal need and safety was her primary concern.
She wanted to design a win-win plan. Somewhere fun for the kids and convenient for parents and it’s a great way for children to have playmates and learn to be independent.
