DIY Fabric Face Masks  – How to Make a No Sew Face Mask

This simple tutorial will show you how to make a DIY fabric face mask.  This no sew face mask can be made using a bandana and two rubber bands.

If you’re like most people and cannot find face masks but you want one, just make your own! It’s simple to make your own DIY fabric face mask. Even if you can’t sew! This tutorial teaches you how to make a no sew face mask option that can be made with a bandana or another piece of fabric and two rubber bands. It’s so easy anyone can do it!  The only bandanas I had at home to try this out were all those Disney Cruise Line Pirate’s Night Bandanas. If you’ve been on several Disney Cruises, then you probably have a bunch of these laying around! I’ve literally been saving those Mickey bandanas for years in a drawer hoping one day to put them to use. They were perfect for this DIY fabric face mask project. HOW TO MAKE NO SEW FABRIC FACE MASKS

I just used our Disney Cruise Line pirate night bandanas for this project, but any bandana or fabric will do.  

First grab your bandana or fabric and two rubber bands. NOTE: I tried this DIY fabric face mask with both thick and thin rubber bands and liked the thinner ones better. But use whatever you have.

Lay out  your bandana and fold it over once.

Then twice.

Add the rubber bands on each side.

Then fold one end in and tuck under the rubber band.

Repeat on the other side.

Gently pull the rubber bands out to adjust and place on face.

That’s  it! You’ve just made a your own DIY fabric face mask. I’ve seen people use all kinds of fabric and even put filters inside.  You can really get creative here!
