Summer vacation is the perfect to to plan fun outdoor activities with the kids. I look forward to summer vacation just as much as my son. I love having him home with us and we’re excited to spent our summer creating memories. One of our favorite movies right now is Paddington. I loved Paddington as a child and am thrilled to be able to share him with my children. Now that Paddington is out on DVD I thought it would be fun to plan a Paddington Picnic.
It’s easy to plan your own too!
First, if you haven’t had a chance to see the movie yet, you’ ll definitely want to pick up a copy of the DVD. The movie is super cute and the kids will love it.
Then you want to decide on your picnic location. It can be as simple as your backyard or your favorite park. We love to spend time at our local park when the weather is nice. There is a lake to go fishing, hiking trails, a fun playground and so much more. So I knew it would be the perfect location to hold our Paddington Picnic.
When it comes to the food, I want something fun and simple so I’ll make Paddington bags to hold our lunches. You can make a simple Paddington bag by decorating a brown paper bag with a bear face and a red hat cut out from some construction paper. II’ll use my bear shaped cookie cutter to cut the sandwiches cut into the shape of a bear.
Since we’ll be spending some time at the park playing it’s important that we all stay hydrated so I’ll back plenty of water.
Now for the fun part! One lucky reader will win this fabulous Paddington prize pack. The winner will receive a copy of the movie, an adorable plush bear and a fun water bottle to make sure you stay hydrated on all your fun summer activities!
