We’re heading back out on our second Disney cruise in February as part of the annual Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and the excitement is really kicking in. Last year was the first year, the event was a land and sea celebration that ended with a cruise on the Disney Wonder. This year, they’re doing it again, this time on the Disney Dream. I wanted to make sure I decorated my cabin door because, are you really cruising if your door isn’t decorated? So I made this printable Disney Cruise Line name tag that you can personalize for your upcoming cruise!
Our cruise on the Disney Wonder was beyond incredible and we were thrilled to be invited back. For my first time cruising, the bar was set VERY high. Even though I knew nothing about a Disney Cruise, I threw myself into the planning and prep.
I signed to participate in a Fish Extender (more on that in a bit) and I saw a lot of people talking about how they decorate their stateroom doors with fun magnets designed to look like their favorite characters.
I immediately thought, I can make these myself! So that’s what I did. Now I’m sharing them with YOU so you can enjoy them on your next cruise! Best of all, they’re FREE!
Our door looked so cute and since our room right located right by the elevators, I had people stopping to comment on our door the entire cruise.
I love the printable name tags but since we were on the cruise for the blog, I made mine with my blog name in addition to our Minnie and Mickey heads.
You can make one for each family member, your family name, or if you’re another blogger heading to DisneySMMC this year, list your blog name too! It’s a great way for people walking by to be introduced to your blog!
I actually made the printable Disney Cruise Line name tags last year and wanted to make them available for the cruise but I threw myself into so many other projects that I completely forgot.
When the invite came through to my mailbox this year, I knew I had to get this printable up for you!
It’s pretty simple to make your own. Just follow these easy steps.
- Download the FREE Disney Cruise Line Name Tag printable
- Open the PDF and use a text box to personalize the tag to list your family name, your name, city, and state or whatever you want it to say
- You can print it on magnet paper (found at office supply stores or online) and cut it out
- Or if you don’t have magnet paper, you can do what I did. Print it on card stock, laminate it and then add some magnets to the back
So simple and it the perfect addition to your stateroom door.

It even makes a great souvenir to remember your cruise once your are home. Ours is hanging on the side of our refrigerator.
If you’re participating in a fish extender, you can even print these our for a fish extender gift.
If you use them on your stateroom door, share the photos on social media and tag me at @anewdawnn on Instagram. I’d love to see them!
Happy Cruising!

I've had the same issue - I somehow managed it once, then when I wanted to change it I couldn't figure it out. Did you have any joy? Grateful for any help, thanks!
