We’re already 3 1/2 months into the New Year and time has completely gotten away from me. I wanted this year to be the year I take control of all areas of my life and I’m already three months in with little to show for it. It’s so easy to write those resolutions or goals down on a piece of paper. It’s the follow through that I struggle with. So, I’m making it a priority to revisit those New Year’s Resolutions I made just a few short months ago NOW and adjusting what I need to make this my best year ever! 

It’s said that it takes nearly 2 months to form a habit so by now you should have a pretty good idea of what has worked and what hasn’t.  I’m using this time to tweak and re-adjust that resolution list to goals that are easier to achieve.

It’s early in the year. By evaluating what’s working and what’s not, there’s still plenty of time left in the year to make it the best year yet! Look over goals and either set more attainable ones or throw out that old list and make a whole new list of resolutions! That’s the beauty of it! It’s your list of goals you want to achieve. Maybe things have changed, and you have a whole new outlook on life and what you want out of this year.

Winter is long and dreary. It’s cold outside and more often than not, I find myself just wanting to curl up on the couch with a nice warm blanket instead of actually going outside.

With Spring and the arrival of warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, I want to go outside and be more active. Whether it’s taking my kids to the playground or going on a hike in our nearby park, I find myself being more physically active which in turn does wonders for my productivity at home and at work.

You’ve probably heard that saying millions of times but the older I get the more I find that true!

My friend's daughter has mitochondrial disease. It has caused serious medical problems and in the end will be fatal. I have learned quite a bit about how important it is to have well functioning mitochondria.
