When it comes to Marvel movies, in our house they’re a BIG deal. If I had to pick my favorite character, it would easily be Thor. So for the upcoming release of Thor: Ragnarok I decided to get busy in the kitchen to create a fun snack for our movie night. The end result? These yummy Thor Hammer Cupcakes.
Whether you’re planning your own at-home movie night or a Thor inspired party for your kids, these Thor Hammer Cupcakes will steal the show!
Plus they’re so easy to make, the kids can help you make them.
You’ll need a few things before you get started:
- 1 box vanilla cupcake mix
- 1 box of Rice Krispie treat
- White or gray fondant
- Wilton silver food spray
- Prezel sticks
- Vanilla icing
Bake your cupcakes according to the package directions. Let cool. Once the cupcakes are completely cooled pipe icing on the tops.
Take one Rice Krispie treat and cut it in half.
Roll out a piece of fondant and wrap each half of the Rice Krispie in fondant.
Insert pretzel stick into each piece.
Spray each piece lightly with the silver spray and let dry.
Place each hammer on top of the cupcakes and serve.
