Pumpkin patches, apple picking, halloween festivities and last minute trips to our local theme parks are keeping our weekends pretty busy celebrating all things fall. Last weekend we kicked off the fall fun with a trip to a local theme park and this weekend we’re headed to the pumpkin patch, as long as the weather stays nice. Usually we’re traveling with friends and other kids so I try to back as light as possible. Chasing after a toddler makes it a little hard to carry around too many bags. So that usually means, I’m toting my diaper bag or smaller version of said bag and that usually doesn’t leave much space for my things. So I picked up a small sized bag and decorated it with my silhouette for a more personalized feel. I love how my personalized travel bag turned out and I can keep all my essentials in one place. Plus anytime I switch bags or run a quick errand, I can just throw it into whatever bag I’m using that day.
First I started with a plain bag that I found at Walmart for only $2! I knew I wanted something small that was easy to move between bags.
When I got home I measured the front of the bag and headed over to PicMonkey to design something. I used my favorite fonts and a cute little flower design. It’s really simple to create your favorite saying or design in PicMonkey and I loved how it came out.
Once I was finished with the design, I saved it to my computer and opened it in my Silhouette studio. Once it’s upload you’ll have to scale the design down a bit to fit your project. Then you trace your design and you’re ready to cut it out.
Once the design is cut and weeded, apply a layer of transfer paper and you’re almost done.
Position it on the center of your bag and press down firmly all over the design. Gently peel back the label to reveal your cute new bag!
I filled mine with essentials for a day out. Whether is a day at the park or an event I’m attending, there are certain things I won’t leave home without like:
- Hand sanitizer
- Deodorant (travel size)
These all usually all the things I forget to pack when I’m headed out and I always end up needing most, if not all of them. Especially the eye drops.
Being out in the sun all day or open fields sometimes make my eyes dry and itchy. Driving long distances can do that to me too. So I like to make sure I always keep eye drops on hand to help with that. My go-to eye drops right now are Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ Multi-Symptom eye drops. These preservative free eye drops are changing the eye drop market and are now available at retail in the US for the first time ever!
Preservatives are usually added into eye drops to make sure no bacteria grow in the bottle itself. Some people, like me, are sensitive to them and while preservative eye drops do exist, they are expensive and sold in wasteful single-dose vials. That’s all changed thanks to Clear Eyes®. They wanted to provide a convenient solution for relief and their preservative free multi-dose bottle is here.
The bottle has a built-in purifying filter that keeps bacteria out. The soft-squeeze bottle is small enough to fit in your pocket and has over 220 drops inside. The eye drops provide 12 hours of soothing comfort from red, burning, itchy, dry, irritated, gritty or watery eyes.
You can find Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ Multi-Symptom and Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ for Dry Eyes at Walmart on the eye care aisle. When you’re shopping, look for the roll back pricing until November 8th. To save even more, click here to print a $3 off coupon good on your next purchase of Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ products.
