Refreshing Strawberry Wine Slushie
Who said slushies were just for kids? Adults will love this refreshing Strawberry Wine Slushie recipe. Perfect for these hot summer days.
When I was younger, weekends during the summer meant cookouts with family and friends. It didn’t matter what else was going on, it always seemed like there was a party somewhere. Whether it was at our house or my aunt or uncle’s house, we always had something to do. I’m carrying on that same tradition with my family and just about every weekend, we try to cookout with friends and family. I wanted to up my drink game for our next cookout so I made a Strawberry Wine Slushie for us to enjoy.
Now that I’m an adult it seems like life has gotten more hectic and busier but one thing is for sure, I want to continue to create memories with my family and friends. So I make it a point to invite them over as much as I can.
In fact, I pretty much have an open door policy.
So it’s safe to say I do a lot of entertaining. A typical summer afternoon involves the guys gathered around the grill cooking, kids in the pool swimming and the ladies under an umbrella with a bottle of wine chatting away.
For my next picnic, I wanted to spice things up a bit.
Since the weather is only getting warmer with each passing weekend, I know something cold and refreshing is the way to go. So I took one of our favorite wines and turned it into a delicious wine slushie.
