Beautiful Rooms Await at Woodloch Resort

When we stayed at Woodloch Resort in April, you probably saw some of my photos on Instagram of our gorgeous room. I talked about it briefly in our trip report from Woodloch, but thought to really showcase the gorgeousness of the rooms, I’d share a separate post. Traveling with a tween and a toddler has it’s own set of challenges. Besides trying to make sure we pick destinations that the whole family will enjoy, hotel accommodations are equally important.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite that came equipped with everything we needed to make sure we were completely comfortable during our stay.

The living area had a balcony that also showcased the breathtaking views of the lake. There was also a sofa and loveseat that turned into a pull out bed. Something my tween loved. He was able to have his own room, complete with the tv to relax and unwind each night.

This room also had two bathrooms. One in the bedroom and another just as you walked in the room with a stand up shower.

Another perk my oldest loved. He instantly claimed it as his personal bathroom for the duration of the trip.

Each bathroom was fully stocked with plenty of towels, toiletries and anything else we might have needed. Plus it was nice and big. No small bathroom to squeeze into.

Our building was just a short drive and walk from the main building. The parking lot was off to the side. You won’t need your car much during your stay since everything is within walking distance but there was a nice drop off area in front of our building so we could unload our bags and not have to carry them across the parking lot.

Once you walk in the door, there’s a nice cozy waiting room where you can relax and wait for the rest of your party.

Right down the hall is a small indoor pool complete with splash zone for the little ones. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool and I think a trip back is needed just to spend some time splashing around.

Here’s a better view of the lake from one of the walking paths right outside our door.

We truly enjoyed our stay and our room at Woodloch and can’t wait to go back.
