If I had to pick one snack or dessert that my family could all agree on it would be s’mores. They’re a staple in our house especially during the summer months at picnics and parties. We even make them in the winter when we’re dreaming of warm summer nights and we’ll just swap the microwave with the fire pit. For our July 4th picnic, I knew s’mores would be the perfect dessert that both the adults and kids would love. So I put together this easy S’more Bar and it was the perfect ending to a fun July 4th. The best part was how easy it was to create making it a great choice for parties, weddings and showers.
I wanted my guests to be able to help themselves and create their own s’mores creations all while looking pretty at the same time. The s’mores bar was a quick, easy solution for our summertime BBQ. Everyone could help themselves and have fun.
I had a few jars at home already but picked up everything else I needed Walmart. Walmart had everything I needed to make the perfect s’mores like Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars, Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares (exclusively at Walmart) and Kraft’s Jet Puffed Marshmallows.
They were easy to find and on the end of an aisle as I walked by. I made sure to grab a couple boxes of each to have on hand after the party too. Since we like to make s’more all summer long.
While I was there, I headed over to the party section and grabbed a galvanized bucket and burlap table runner to go with some of the decorations I already had at home. If you don’t have any glass jars Walmart has a great selection in the kitchen and party department and you can always grab a few there.
Once we were ready for the party, I set up the table on the side of the yard near the fire pit so it would be easy for my guests to grab the marshmallows and get busy making s’mores. Don’t worry if you don’t have a fire pit. You could always make them in the microwave (which was Plan B if it rained). Just set up your s’more bar inside instead.
For the guests that couldn’t stay to the end I even put together some party favors – S’mores To Go. The great thing about s’mores is that any day can easily be a s’mores day. Just grab you’re three ingredients and ready to enjoy them anytime and anywhere.
I found these little take out boxes and filled them with their very own s’mores kit. Perfect to enjoy later.
I also wanted to put together a easy snack for anyone not wanting to make their own s’mores so I made these grab and go Cherry S’mores Pops and they were delicious!

What a fun s'mores bar idea! We usually make ours over the firepit but I often find that I'm running in and out of the house for extra ingredients. A s'mores bar would allow me to be outside and enjoying the s'mores making with my family more! Thanks for sharing! #client
What a wonderful idea to have a Smores Bar Cherry Pops! I think they look cute, and I have almost all of the recipe, just need the chocolate to make these. I love marshmallows and chocolate together! Thanks for the recipe.
This looks great! I can't wait to try this recipe with my family at our next camping trip.
