Holiday entertaining is my specialty. I love getting the family together for dinner at our house and I’m always looking for fun and entertaining gift ideas for the adults. The younger ones are easy. It’s the over 18 crowd that I get stumped with when it comes to gift ideas. So this year in addition to their gifts, I’m taking my holiday table decor to the next level with these New Jersey Lottery Stocking Place Settings.

The New Jersey Lottery has four Holiday themed Instant Games available for the holiday season and I thought they’d make great gift ideas for the adults’ table. This way everyone has a little something waiting for them at the table.
I made this Holiday Lottery Tree for the table centerpiece. I decorated the tree with tickets so before or after dinner all the adults can grab a ticket or two and try their luck.
I took the larger tickets and used them to decorate the tree skirt.
Then at each place setting, I picked up these small stockings that say “joy” on them to lay on top of each plate. They’re the perfect size to hold a few more of the Holiday themed Instant Games (and the colors match perfectly).
How fun would it be if one of these gift ideas was a big winner? It’s a pretty good bet that they would love it! Plus the thrill of actually scratching them off is pretty fun too. Maybe we’ll even turn it into a game to keep the excitement going.
I just love how these look on the table and cannot wait to see my guests’ faces when they see them.

I love the idea of making a little Christmas tree with lottery tickets. My boyfriend loves scratch tickets, we usually put 5 in each stocking but perhaps I will make this year different with a tree display for the whole family!
Oh my goodness, this is SO much fun! You know what?? Last Christmas, I won $500 from a scratch ticket! You can’t beat that when it comes to spreading holiday cheer!
I’ve never seen anyone else do this, using scratch-offs to help create a place setting is such a fun idea. Guests will enjoy the chance to win.
