Eating Our Way Through Hershey, PA
This post is in partnership with Hershey, PA. All opinions are my own. Thank you Hershey for hosting my family.
One of my favorite things about our visit to Hershey, PA was all the delicious food we had a chance to try out. It’s no secret I love trying out new places to eat and Hershey did not disappoint. I try to encourage myself to step out of my comfort zone to try something new or something I wouldn’t ordinarily try, each time we visit a new restaurant. This trip gave me plenty of opportunities to do just that. The food was amazing and there wasn’t one thing we didn’t love, the kids included. While there is no shortage of places to eat in the area, on this trip we dined at Trevi and Harvest at The Hotel Hershey and for lunch we headed over to Houlihan’s on our way to The Hershey Museum.
Before we left home, I made sure to check out all of the dining options available at HersheyPark.com to try and get an idea of where we wanted to eat. The Hershey Lodge and The Hotel Hershey offer plenty of dining options for guests staying there as well as all of the restaurants that line the town. It was a hard pick deciding where to go and I’ve already have my list ready for our next visit.
TREVI 5
Our first night kept us busy with the ZooAmerica After Hours tour and by the time we were done, we were pretty hungry. We headed over to The Hotel Hershey to eat at Trevi 5. Trevi 5 offers a contemporary twist on traditional Italian cuisine. With offerings like small dish appetizers and five-flavor combinations.
It didn’t take long for everyone to find their favorite dishes on the menu. I went with their Grilled Chicken Pizza. It was loaded with creamy pesto, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella and plenty of grilled chicken. I was surprised at how HUGE the pizza was. If if wasn’t so delicious I probably could have shared it with my husband but instead I kept it all to myself.
My husband is the seafood lover in the family so he started his meal off with the Grilled Octopus appetizer. Served with sausage, tomato ad chicken ragu, I didn’t even get a chance to sample it since it was gone before I could even taste it. He really enjoyed it and has already requested we eat here again on our next trip.
For his main course, he chose the crispy chicken with rosemary mashed potatoes, tuscan kale and red pepper coulis.
This dish I was able to sneak a bite of and it was amazing. The chicken was so tender and seasoned perfectly and the rosemary mashed potatoes were divine.
The kids were equally delighted with dinner. My little one couldn’t keep her hands off the food. She went with the grilled cheese and my oldest, chose the mac and cheese. While they picked their favorites, the children’s menu offers great choices for kids who like to eat beyond the basics with options like grilled chicken with butter penne and many more.
HOULIHAN’S
Our second day kept us busy at Hershey’s Chocolate World and The Hershey Museum. In between we grabbed lunch at Houlihan’s located right on W. Chocolate Avenue and next door to The Hershey Museum. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your visit to The Hershey Museum. We haven’t been to Houlihan’s in a long time and I was craving their soup.
The food did not disappoint. The Firecracker Shrimp and Original Baked Potato Soup were the perfect appetizers on the chilly day. Sticking with the seafood theme, my husband choose the Fisherman’s Wharf Ravioli stuffed with clams, crabs, shrimp and scallops in a spicy tomato broth. Each bite was so full of flavor and plenty of delectable seafood.
HARVEST
The third restaurant we dined at on this trip was Harvest at The Hotel Hershey.
Located on the grounds of The Hotel Hersey, Harvest offers a delicious and fresh take on American cuisine perfect for the whole family. The menu features a variety of fresh seasonal fare.
We enjoyed steamed mussels, and bow creek farms american burgers.
There are so many great places to eat all over Hershey, PA and these were just a sampling of the ones we had a chance to enjoy on our trip. I already can’t wait to go back and visit some other places.
Do you have a favorite restaurant in Hershey?

I remember going to Hershey with my family as a kid. It was a nice place. But we did not stay overnight. If I ever go again, the lodge photo you shared would make me want to stay there. Nice!
I visited the Hotel Hershey back in April… the food was amazing! But my favorite might have been the Signature Drinks 🙂
